This demonstration illustrates the use and value of XBRL for data retrieval, comparison and manipulation purposes in the pharmaceuticals sector . Data is taken from a number of public companies. The demonstration then shows the ease with which financial items can be selected, merged, drilled, compared, re-sized, graphed and converted by virtue of XBRL tagging.
