XBRL-NZ was formed on 2 August 2002. The Group’s objectives are:
Provide a liaison and facilitation function for XBRL within New Zealand
Maintain contact with, and stay updated on international developments
Educate members, government and business about XBRL as an enabler to digital business reporting
Produce an education programme for members and business entities
Determine a universal taxonomy for New Zealand in the most efficient and effective way possible
